Final Meeting

The Final Meeting of TRANSACT took place on 12-13 December 2016 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The aim of this meeting was to look at project's achievements and agree on the final steps. It was also a good occasion to discuss further collaboration opportunities between the network and work on future project proposals.

Some of the Fellows were also present in the meeting. They gave a presentation on their experiences during TRANSACT and also presented the posters on their research results.

3rd Annual Meeting

TRANSACT supervisors, fellows and partners gathered together for the annual meeting on the 29th of February – 2nd of March 2016. The meeting was organized by the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

The program included jMRUI presentations, Supervisory Board meeting, strategic discussions and group meetings to discuss the future project and research plans.

The ESRs presented their research work in the format of 15-minute individual presentations. Their talks were evaluated by the jury and fellow ESRs and the two best presentations were selected for the TRANSACT “Best Student Presentation Prize 2016”. After calculating the votes, 1st place was given to the ESR13 Claudio Stamile and 2nd place to the ESR4 Veronika Rackayová. 

Besides the fruitful meeting, participants had a chance to visit the Anatomic Museum and the Preclinical Imaging Centre in Nijmegen.  

The Mid-Term Review Meeting

On 1st and 2nd of December Transact Mid-Term Review Meeting was held in Barcelona-Bellaterra, Spain.

The Meeting gathered all the Research Fellows and the Scientists in charge, Project Experts and representatives of Associated Partners. We have also welcomed the External Reviewer.

The scientists in charge have presented their teams and their institutions. The Young Transact Researchers presented their work, and their training experience in the Network.

The meeting was a good opportunity to review the past 21 months of the Project, and to discuss how to improve in the months to come.

1st Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting Picture

The First Annual Meeting was organised by The University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K, in February. The researchers participated in an Ethics course and two lectures given by guest researchers on the subject of "Women in Science"

There was time foreseen for every Early Stage Researcher to present her/his work. Later on during the group meetings with the Supervisors the ESRs had a chance to discuss their research and to plan their secondments.

 On the third day a Supervisory Board meeting were held, where many administrative and organisational issues were discussed.

The Meeting was closed with a guest lecture "Multi-modal Imaging in Rodent Models of Brain Disease".

TRANSACT Kick-off Meeting

The kick-off meeting of TRANSACT took place in Leuven, Belgium, on March 6-8, 2013.

The meeting was structured in three parts:

Part 1: Project overview and administration
Part 2: Scientific symposium
Part 3: Discussions on scientific and practical issues

The goal of the meeting was that the partners meet each other. Although mainly organisational and managemental issues were discussed this meeting was also an excellent oportunity to share the scientific experience, and discuss the scientific and training aspects.

During the meeting it was decided to organize the First Transact Workshop in December 2013 in Leipzig.
